Latest Coaching course

This weekend, FiF ran a coaching course for eight of the historic fencers of the Association for Historical Arts, drawing participants from Glasgow, Dundee and Stoke-on-Trent.

The cloisters of the University of Glasgow - the fourth oldest university in the English-speaking world

The training took place in beautiful and wonderfully atmospheric surroundings in Glasgow University.

The newly-qualified instructors, flanked by their coach-educator, and  their examiner.
Seven of the participants went on to sit their initial exam in the British Academy of Fencing, examined by the academy's most senior Master, Professor H.T. "Bert" Bracewell.

All seven passed.
